Rickstar Unveils His Funky Video For His Classy New Single ‘Hanging On (Let Go)’!

Following his previous single ‘Beat Of My Heart‘, Rickstar, a 21 year old singer/songwriter from London drops another smashing number entitled ‘Hanging On (Let Go)’, taken from his terrific EP Vintage Soul, Modern Mind. The track itself adopts the nature of the 60s, modernised to create a funky fresh sound. The combination of the famous Motown flavour with a modern touch forms this brilliantly easygoing song, with addictive vocals and an infectious melody – a track you are bound to catch yourself subconsciously humming down the street!

The accompanied captivating music video is equally epic; the visual is quirky yet slick and stylish, and Rickstar is undeniably an entertaining trendsetter – he is most certainly able to keep us hanging on to his every word with a hit as gripping as this!

Rihanna Releases Her Official Video for ‘You Da One’!…

Rihanna finally unveils her sassy new video for her latest single ‘You Da One’, taken from her ‘Talk That Talk’ album. This is definitely Da One I’ve been waiting for as I am craaaazy about this traaack! She has hardly switched things up much in comparison to her previous videos  – apart from the blonde transformation of course – but what more did we really expect??

I am probably bias seeing as I am completely in love with the quirky number, but I do appreciate the execution of the video, the artistic lyrical graphics and effects, the whole creative aspect of the visual – it’s powerful in that it clearly presents the song’s message in the simplest way, and it enriches the track and sits perfectly with the nature of the song.

Check out the new vid from Da One and only Rihanna

Chris Brown Heats Up this Wintery Season With His Official Video for ‘Strip’…

Well Chris Brown seems to have dropped his wintery-themed official video for his latest single ‘Strip’ (ft. Kevin McCall) at the perfect time this ‘breezy’ season. Only CB could consider stripping down in midwinter! But let’s face it – this chilled yet frisky visual certainly helps to heat up the chilly days and our frosty bones.

The ‘She Ain’t You’ singer proves to be having a whole lotta harmless fun, acting his cheeky breezy self, along with lavish ladies he and rapper McCall would surely love to reflect the track’s title. Taken from his upcoming fifth album ‘Fortune’, ‘Strip’ is not necessarily an original number, or visual, but it’s an addictive one all the same!

Lady Gaga MARRYS THE NIGHT In Her Longest Music Video Ever Made…

Now the thing is…I really do like Lady Gaga. She has a brilliant voice, huge talent and a wonderful personality, but this music video for her latest single ‘Marry The Night‘ has left my heart disputing with my head; my heart believes that she’s totally awesome……but my head believes that she is officially deranged.

When I noticed that I was about to watch a 14 minute-long video, I was optimistically intrigued, but that was honestly precisely 13:51mins of complete nonsense!!! I guess I could never deny the fact that she is totally living up to her stage name!

I understand that the visual is representative of her past, but it was just uninteresting to view, it had no life, a bore to watch, and I have no words to offer on the final scene…

We all know that the unique superstar is outrageous/wacky/eccentric/plus any other nutty-related terms, but this was on a whole new Gaga level. The only part that just about sparked my interest was the dance routine – but overall, to put it plainly…I just didn’t like it.

Rihanna Displays Mixed Emotions In ‘We Found Love’ Video…

Rihanna releases her emotionally-lead video for her latest single ‘We Found Love’. Listening to the song alone, I didn’t actually imagine it having such an intense storyline; it doesn’t necessarily compliment the party element of the song but then it certainly does reflect its lyrics, and I fully appreciate that the visual dissects the track to draw focus towards the words of the song.

Throughout the video, we follow Rihanna’s destructive love-life; could this video quite possibly be a reflection of her relationship with a certain Mr Brown? …given that the male actor is quite a replicate of him in his blonde-haired days. Well whatever the influences, this is a great video with massive impact nonetheless.

Ri-Ri might find love in a hopeless place, but she is far from hopeless at finding herself at the top of the charts! Check out the video for the number one single below!

Beyonce Exhibits Her Baby Bump In Her New Vid For Countdown…

In light of the countdown to the birth of her first born, Beyonce stylishly displays that baby bump in the music video for her latest single ‘Countdown’. The ‘1+1’ singer adopts a cute, yet bold attitude as she proves that she can still rock it while she’s up the duff! This video didn’t make me go “WOW” exactly, as it is that kind of energetic, sexy, quirky visual that we would all expect from the singer, but can’t deny it’s most definitely a rapid and multi-coloured video that is full of fun and excitement. 🙂

Jessie J Empowers All in her Music Video for ‘Who You Are’…

I have personally been waiting a very long time for this one, and I am so pleased to finally hear that Jessie J has released a music video for her empowering single ‘Who You Are’! This may sound a little bias seeing as this song is my most liked track off her amazing album, but in my opinion this is by far one of her best videos yet…

The result of this visual is everything that I imagined and HOPED it to be – a stripped back Jessie as opposed to the usual dolled up, quirky persona (which I LOVE…but only in smaller doses :-)). This video is so fitting for the profound lyrics and overall authentic nature of the song.

Isn’t it just wonderful to see the purer side to our much loved songstress for a change? 🙂

[Music Video] Nicki Minaj’s ‘Fly’ Video Finally Lands…

The long-awaited music video for Nicki Minaj’s single ‘Fly’ featuring Rihanna, has finally landed. The video is set on a dramatic plane crash scene where Nicki exhibits her many eccentric outfits, alongside her bestie Ri-Ri. So here’s the thing…I do understand the concept of the video, emphasising the view that the ladies can face any tragic situation, yet still maintain their image and have fight left in them, but I just wasn’t as impressed as I expected to be considering the time it took for the videos official release – plus the amount of millions that was most likely spent on it!

The song is so great in my opinion and was one of the tracks on the rapper’s album ‘Pink Friday’ where the repeat button was constantly in motion, but my view of the visual just doesn’t seem to reflect how amazing the song really is. So as you can imagine, this is not a video I would choose to play more than once, but I’ll of course continue to totally adore the track nonetheless! 🙂

Rihanna’s ‘Cheers’ Video Has Finally Arrived…I’ll ‘Drink To That’!

CHEERS! To the release of Rihanna’s new music video for her single ‘Cheers (Drink To That)‘ – I shall definitely raise a glass to this one! We get up close and personal with the ‘Man Down’ singer as the visual combines clips of her performances during her ‘Loud’ tour, behind the scene clips and footage of her personal moments representing her fun times, and the happy stages in her life thus far. I will never tire of this hot tune as I totally appreciate the feel-good, fun-filled nature, and the chilled out video which appropriately accompanies it.

Check out the new video below, and…

Happy weekend everyone! 😀

Beyonce Gets Steamy In Her Music Video for ‘1+1’…

Beyonce may not know much about a lot of things taking into account the lyrics to her stunning ballad ‘1+1’, but she certainly knows just how to sexually exhibit her bodily assets whenever she gets the chance! The ‘Run The World’ singer shimmers – literally – in her sensually-lead new video, which is in no doubt exceedingly seductive, yet tasteful some may say. I feel that she may be disguising the view of ‘selling sex’ with the symmetrical art, which I believe makes the video that more powerful and interesting to watch – I guess.

Beyonce brings to life that passion that is established within the track; the video is effective in that it simply represents the message in the song and is the kind of visual you would most probably expect for a song of this nature.

Feel the passion as you view the video below…

[Music Video] Lil Wayne Slows It Down On His Emotional Number ‘How To Love’…

Lil Wayne softens his heart on his third single ‘How To Love’, taken from Tha Carter IV album. The sensitive music video possesses a well-directed and thought-out storyline that is very fitting for the track. The moving visual features a vulnerable young lady who suffers a troubled journey throughout the early stages of her life, whilst also demonstrating a contrasting outcome; the accompanied video shows what her life could have been like if she had been faced with better options, and made wiser decisions.

It really does suit Wayne when he sets aside his hard-edged persona and displays his tender side, while sharing a poignant message.

Follow the heartrending story below…

Jay-Z and Kanye West Take A Joy Ride In Their Video For ‘Otis’…

The Otis Redding-sampled single serves as the next release lifted from Jay-Z and Kanye West’s album ‘Watch the Throne’. The accompanied music video is cool, feel-good natured and is quite a stripped-back video compared to their previous graphic-filled visuals.

The track itself isn’t really my thing but I love the simplicity of the video, allowing their endearing personalities to glow; plus you could even strongly sense the brotherly-love between the two rappers, as they act like two care-free, down to earth guys purely having fun, enjoying life, and success!

See Jay and Kanye in action in the ‘Otis’ video below…

Jessie J Revisits Her School Day Dramas In Her Official Video For ‘Who’s Laughing Now’…

Jessie J has the last laugh as she releases an official music video for her latest single ‘Who’s Laughing Now’, taken from her debut album ‘Who You Are‘.

So far her music videos have always boasted huge creativity and a colourful nature as the singer plays three different roles, adding some comedic value to the visual – along with her signature animated facial expressions of course. The ‘Price Tag’ singer reminisces on her childhood dramas at school as she explains how she was constantly bullied by her peers, and treated as an outcast. However she eventually fights back by causing mayhem around the school.

Who’s Laughing Now’ wouldn’t have personally been my next choice of single, but I guess the song and the video portray a personal view of the singer’s life as a school child. Some people may be able to identify with her story, and her conclusion is also inspiring for children who may be facing similar situations – indicating that if you raise your game and aim to accomplish your dreams, you too can have the last laugh.

😀 😀 😀

So let’s see if Jessie J can LAUGH all the way to the top of the charts with this one!…

Beyonce Gets Wed in Her New Video for “Best Thing I Never Had”…

Beyonce sings about her relief that her previous lover whom she once wanted turned out to be no good for her – or in her words “the best thing [she] never had” – and expresses this in her wedding-themed music video for her latest single taken from her album ‘4’. The video shows bride Beyonce filled with complete happiness as she reflects on the past and proves that she has moved on, is happily in love and is about to marry the true man of her dream (e.g. Jay- Z).

Wouldn’t it just be wonderful if this was a reconstruction of her own wedding day? 🙂

The concept of the video goes perfectly with the track; simple, yet still effectively gets her message across (to that loser). So if YOU are that former lover that she is vocally addressing in this track, then it really does SUCK to be YOU right now…

Enjoy 🙂

[Video] David Guetta – ‘Where Them Girls At’ Ft. Flo Rida & Nicki Minaj…

David Guetta teams up with rappers Flo Rida and Nicki Minaj for his latest dance anthem ‘Where Them Girs At’; the first single taken from his forthcoming album ‘Nothing But The Beat’. I know this kind of tune is more Flo Rida’s style, but I weren’t too sure about Nicki; however after watching the video and listening to the track like a hundred times it has somehow changed my opinion, and now I believe that it does all sorta work 🙂

The French DJ proves that he can even make a whole city get down to his infectious dance number, with giant bubbles filled with rhythmic gas floating among the people of LA, causing them to burst out in dance – yep the creativity in the video is clearly suitable for an equally bubbly tune 🙂 I must admit this song isn’t one of my favourites from the producer, but whatever the track I believe that he will forever keep his listeners on their feet!

Crash the party below…

Baby Sol Gets Dark In Her OFFICIAL VIDEO For ‘Always’ – Introducing The STINKAHBELL Remix!

Love Dubstep? Love Baby Sol? Then you’ll certainly appreciate this Stinkahbell-produced reformed version of Baby Sol’s ‘Always’ track, along with the official video – it is sure to send chills through those rhythmic bones in your bodies and have your attention locked from beginning to end!

Baby Sol stands alone in her new revolutionary Kash-directed video, as she exhibits her darker side backed up my spellbinding graphics and hypnotising imagery. The epic visual gels exceptionally well with the nature of this intense production. So prepare to be mind-blown as you witness the singer gone shady in her new video below…

PLUS…You can see Baby Sol perform at Glastonbury festival on 23rd – 24th June ! Click here for more details !

Music Video: Beyonce – Run The World (Girls) + ‘4’ Album Cover…

We all waited…we watched teaser after teaser…and the time has finally come to witness Queen B in true feisty style, in her new video for her latest single Run The World (Girls) – taken from her upcoming album ‘4‘. As I and possibly many others expected, the video emphasises the power of girls with the inclusion of hundreds of other ruling ladies in action – enforcing the empowering single’s message with the utmost energy and enthusiasm!

The song itself received both positive views and negative responses even from a few Beyonce fanatics, therefore B’s team couldn’t possibly hold back in this vid in order for it to get a better reception than the single itself, and back up its title! Yet I’m pretty sure the girls’ powerfully persuasive choreography have done the trick. So to all the critiques of the brand new track, has this visual changed your opinion on the hardcore single?

Check it out! + Beyonce’s ‘4album cover below…

Nicki Minaj Glows In Her Vibrant ‘Super Bass’ Video

The music video for my personal favourite track off Nicki Minaj’s ‘Pink Friday’ album – ‘Super Bass’ – is finally released! Well I’m not sure if it is exactly what I expected, but it certainly hasn’t taken away an inch of my devotion to the track thankfully. It’s undeniably cute, fun, playful, and the teasing nature of the video is well suited to the lyrics.

The visual is definitely booming with vibrancy as the Young Money rapper illuminates the video with her signature multicoloured hairdos, two-tone eyeliner and vivid outfits, along with other eye-grabbing features and all things bubblegum-like.

Check out the candy-coated video below…

Are you feeling the bass?

From A Wannabe Doll To An Official Solo Doll: Melissa Molinaro – ‘Dance Floor’

After competing in the hugely competitive talent search shows “Pussycat Dolls Present: The Search For the Next Doll” and “Making The Band 3”, these platforms seemed to set Melissa Molinaro up perfectly for a potentially awesome career as a solo artist. Her upbeat new single appropriately entitled ‘Dance Floor’ is evidently a dance anthem for all the DJs to consider slotting into their playlists.

This is certainly an ideal first single from her upcoming album for the singer to release – being such a terrific dancer, this track enables her to exhibit her fiery moves milking the hell out of this number. The club banger isn’t one that sticks with me instantly, but I definitely feel it is a grower. As you may or may not know I am not a massive fan of tracks which are totally draped in auto tune, but who is really noticing the vocal quality when you’re too busy focusing on the visual quality!? Yep she is selling it for sure! (the single I mean).

You can check out Melissa Molinaro in action in her ‘Dance Floor’ video below, plus she also has a major role in the dance/romance movieHoney 2 so be sure to look out for that later this year!

Video: ‘Move Your Body’ For Beyonce !

Beyonce turns dance instructor in her new fun and motivational video for ‘Move Your Body’, the Melina-directed video created in aid of the ‘Let’s Move! Flash Workout’ campaign.

The singer re-records and alters the lyrics to her highly energetic ‘Get Me Bodied’, which I believe is an appropriately great song choice seeing as the track was originally a workout session in itself! It’s also cool how snippets of different genres like Salsa and Dancehall were thrown in the mix!

The video includes Beyonce engaging with the youth through dance in the school cafeteria, demonstrating how useful dance is in shifting that unnecessary and unwanted weight, and keeping healthy and fit. I guess the significantly active star is the perfect artist to inspire young kids to move their bodies!

Supported by First Lady Michelle Obama, this project was introduced to encourage youth to exercise in order to prevent obesity in young children – so follow this cause and check out B’s ‘workout’ video below! 🙂

Jessie J’s in Wonderland for her ‘Nobody’s Perfect’ Video…

Jessie J adopts an Alice in Wonderland theme for the video in support of her third single, ‘Nobody’s Perfect’.

Once again, the singer has produced a music video featuring more eccentric figures and numerous different faces……of Jessie! I must admit I do love the quirkiness, creativity, and unpredictability she portrays in her videos; however after releasing two ingenious videos, I thought that she might just go a little easy on this one but she went even further into OTT mode. For me, it’s a fantastic video in theory but watching it I felt there was too much going on all at once – Jessie J playing a million different characters with the camera flashing from Jessie 1 through to Jessie 6, all in the space of 5 seconds!

The lyrics are hugely powerful and I feel as if the video took over, slightly overshadowing the meaning of the song.

LOVE Jessie…LOVE ‘Who You Are’ album…LOVE ‘Nobody’s Perfect’…but not hot on the video. I really appreciate her originality but would have loved her to strip it back a little…for this track.

Katy Perry Is Out Of This World In ‘E.T.’ Video…

Katy Perry’s latest video for her single ‘E.T.’ featuring Kanye West finally lands on earth for all to be amazed – her fourth No. 1 single on Billboard Hot 100 off of her Teenage Dream album. I imagined that this Floria Sigismondi-directed video was going to be epic after hearing the excellently-produced track, and gladly, it didn’t disappoint.

The singer created her very own mini E.T. movie that perfectly reflected the lyrics of the song. Although I could sense what the visual was going to be like and the effects it would entail after checking out the video stills, this didn’t reduce the impact it had from my first official viewing – the graphics and fantasy-like imagery were just as captivating as I expected it would be, only more of course!

The whole track altogether surely has abducted my heart … I love 🙂 Check out the supernatural video behind the awesome and well deserved no1 single…

Mindless Behaviour – ‘My Girl (remix)’ ft. Ciara, Tyga and Lil Twist

The Quartet who goes by the name of Mindless Behaviour, is Interscopes fresh group to burst onto the music scene. They recently released their music video for their single ‘My Girl – the remix – the infectious melodic production that instantly worked its way to my heart and put a great big smile on my face :-D. The spirited 13-year-old youngsters who are all both adorable and armed with swagger surely know how to make a cute track non-corny, with a little help from Tyga, Lil Twist and Ciara of course.

I love young talent! So refreshing 🙂 Check out Prodigy, Roc Royal, Ray Ray and Princeton, collectively known as MINDLESS BEHAVIOUR in their video below…

Music Video: Chris Brown – ‘Beautiful People’…

Following his promotional appearance on yesterday’s ‘Good Morning America, Chris Brown releases his latest music video for his single ‘Beautiful People’ ft. Benny Benassi, which is lifted from his ‘F.A.M.E.’ album. The natural and down to earth video completely associates itself to the lyrics of the track, with clips of Breezy and others casually living their day to day lives, having fun times in the studio and merely enjoying and treasuring life – an effortless video which I found far more entertaining than other videos which involved a lot more effort and a higher budget – that’s what makes this video so great!

The visual compliments the club/house anthem portraying the exact message of this track; it’s all about positive thinking, living, and especially for him…forgetting the PAST! CB is a beautiful person in his fan’s eyes…if you agree and wish to support then cop F.A.M.E and check out the awesome vid below with features from Bow Wow, Brandy, Estelle, Nelly, Omarion, Teyana Taylor, The Game, Timbaland, and Tyga. 🙂
